“Dial M For Mayor” Review

Hey, guys.  I have already watched Castle Season 4 Episode 12, “Dial M For Mayor”.  I really enjoyed this episode, and for those of you guys that watched it, I hope you guys enjoyed it too.  This episode is pretty exciting, because it is about a girl’s dead body being found in the mayor’s car.  Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion), puts in a lot of belief that the mayor didn’t kill anyone, but Detective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) still has to follow the protocols for known suspects.  This episode has a mysterious guy calling Castle and trying to make a point about Beckett trying to dig into her mother’s death case which happened when she was a little kid.  By the end of the episode, it is shown that the guy that has been calling Castle planned this whole murder that this episode is about.  Captain Victoria Gates, “Iron Gates” (Penny Johnson) seemed desperate in trying to find evidence against the mayor, because she wants to send away Castle.  This episode complicates the relationship between Castle and Beckett, which almost ruins the whole Caskett idea.  Castle is in the 12th Precinct because of his relationship with the mayor, it was the mayor’s approval that got him into this whole thing.  That is about all for this episode, and I hope you all have watched it, if not go online right now, and go to www.sidereel.com, go to search, type in Castle, click on search links for Season 4 Episode 12, “Dial M For Mayor” and go to a link.  That way, you can watch that episode!  I hope you enjoy it!

Nice recap. This was a great episode. But then, I’ve thought this entire season was excellent. I especially like the ‘40s noir episode, even though it had nothing to do with the main plot of the show (and I think the idea was copied from an episode of Moonlighting). I’ve been having a heck of a time seeing Castle as it aired this season though. My schedule just hasn’t been conducive to catching my favorite shows. Luckily though my employer, DISH, has a free streaming site called dishonline(dot)com. It has an exhaustive selection of shows, many of which are available to non subscribers and subscribers alike, so it’s definitely worth checking out anytime you’re looking to stream something.
